Fall Weekend

Yes, I know I haven't blogged in forever. No, there aren't any real excuses.

So now that that is out of the way. We had a great weekend in Innsbrook. We headed out early Friday morning. It was chilly and overcast but we still got a beautiful walk in.

Liam loves playing copy cat these days. He had a great time trying to throw rocks in the lake just like Daddy and then ultimately just watching the pro at work.

That night we watched the Cardinals lose after some chili and then off to bed.

The next day we got ready to go to the pumpkin patch. Before we left I had to get some pictures of Liam outside on the porch.

Then on to the pumpkin patch for some fried food, punkin chunkin, pony rides and more! Liam was in heaven... until he got crabby. :) We had to peel him out of the sandbox with all the trucks.

Last year Liam sat in the wagon with all the pumpkins...

This year he pulled it!

Then it was home for nap time and costumes and off to the Trunk or Treat. Mickey, Minnie and Goofy were joined by the Swedish Chef and everyone had a great time listening to all the kids' jokes and watching Liam get a sugar high.

And if all those pictures weren't enough, I had to get some of Liam when we got home with all the fall decorations in the yard. (Of course he had to have his truck nearby!)

It was a wonderful weekend and we are already ready to do it all again next year! Hope everyone is enjoying fall as much as we are!

Loving the Weather

The season has started to turn towards fall. We have enjoyed quite a few days with highs in the 70s and we are taking full advantage of it by being outside as much as possible!
Liam seems to be in heaven. Being outside is one of his favorite things right now. I am probably long over due on an update on all his going ons, but for today enjoy the pictures of our awesome weekend with great friends.

Magic House

Before Liam and I left for North Carolina, two of Keith's sisters and families were in town for Labor Day weekend. Since it was rainy, we decided to go to the Magic House. Unfortunately so did the rest of St. Louis. Even though it was crowded, Liam had an absolute blast. I will be taking the day off sometime soon to take him again!

North Carolina

Last week Liam and I headed to North Carolina for a few days. My dad had rented a house in Emerald Isle right on the beach for two weeks and we just had to take advantage of that. Keith couldn't get a way from work, so it was just us.
On the way there we were lucky to have Ceil join us on the plane ride, which made traveling with a 19 month old more tolerable. On the way back, it was just me tackling the monster but we made it home in one piece.
